Henriette Stadthotel is committed to the common good economy. It employs local staff and ensures a high proportion of women in management positions. Purchases are made locally. In-house charity events are held regularly, raising money for charitable causes. Employees enjoy various benefits thanks to cooperation agreements and club memberships.

Room cleaning is 100% chemical-free using micro dry steam. In general, environmentally friendly cleaning agents are used.

The hotel uses an air-source heat pump for heating, cooling and hot water. This achieves a CO2 saving of 100% and a 25% saving in total energy. Electricity is obtained from renewable energy sources. For energy-efficient management, the house is equipped with LED lighting, motion sensor lights and energy-saving appliances.

The hotel is free of single-use plastic, including bottles in the rooms. Amenities made from eco-certified cosmetics come in dispensers instead of individual bottles. Waste is separated and recycled, and employees are trained to do so.
