What a great hotel! Really enjoyed the different style of hotel. The reception staff were super helpful! The rooms were quirky, but functional and the bed was very comfy. No TV, but that didn’t bother me, and the lighting wasn’t all that bright in the evening. Roof top terrace was a nice place to sit What a great hotel! Really enjoyed the different style of hotel. The tram is also right outside. The rooms don’t have much of a view (I was out the back) but it didn’t bother me [...]

Communication while and after booking was very good via email. The hotel itself if beautiful. Really interesting design with lots of eco things which I appreciate. The rooms are clean and comfortable with great mattresses. The room had a Bluetooth speaker which was great for getting ready to go out parties. The rooms are clean and comfortable with great mattresses. The room had a Bluetooth speaker which was great for getting ready to go out parties. Each floor has a refreshment table with a cold and boiling hot water tap and a free coffee making machine. Such a great addition and really sustainable. The hotel staff were attentive but I did knock one point off as there were building works next door and they started at 8am and when I questioned if that would be the same all weekend the lady behind the desk didn't seem bothered or offered to move us which was disappointing. The rooftop bar was amazing. We didn't get time to go in the day but went nearly every weekend. The vibe was chilled with good music and the drinks were fantastic. Great Old Fashioned and we got to try Green wine. Location wise it was good for us but depends on your trip. We didn't have much planned in the city so location was great. It's about a 20 minutes walk to Time Out Market and the streets seemed really safe at all times of the day and night. It is either in or close to Santos where there are great brunch options like Dear Breakfast (would recommend that). If you want to be right in the centre of things maybe choose a hotel in Alfama or the more central district's but if you want somewhere a bit quieter and good links to everything JAM is perfect. Ubers are really cheap and the tram is an experience so don't be put off by it being a little out, there are a lot of bonuses for it being out of the really busy areas. We are already planning our return to Lisbon as there is so much to do and we will be coming back to JAM for sure. [...]

Love the design and the carbon-free concept. Everything was spotless and well-organized. From the lobby to the room, it smelled fresh and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety, and the staff were always friendly. The common area was serene and clean, plus there was even a printer available.
