For families and small groups, there is a special room combination with a separate entrance that can accommodate up to five guests.
The hotel's restaurant Gina is reinventing itself after more than 100 years with a stylish look inspired by a mysterious historical stamp discovered in the hotel's archives. At Gina, you can enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner in a charming inner courtyard, framed by brick walls and lush greenery - a little oasis in the middle of the city. Next door, the bar La Esquina invites you to enjoy traditional Spanish tapas.
Sustainability is firmly anchored in the philosophy of the Hotel Regina. With a carbon footprint of just 6.28 kg per guest per night, the hotel relies on energy-efficient technologies, including solar panels for hot water and modernized window insulation to keep out noise and reduce energy consumption. The aim is to recycle or reuse 100% of the hotel's furniture by 2025. In collaboration with Fundació Formació i Treball, the hotel donated refurbishment-related materials such as mattresses and uniforms in 2024 to support the community and reduce waste. Employees were also encouraged to purchase furniture for their own use, and an auction organized the resale of hotel furniture.
For active guests, a nearby gym offers extensive training facilities, a swimming pool and a sauna - just a few steps away from the hotel. Thanks to its location, the Hotel Regina is the ideal starting point for exploring Barcelona. Sights such as the elegant Paseig de Gracia, the famous Ramblas, Gaudí's masterpieces, museums, the Sagrada Familia and the Barrio Gòtic are all within easy walking distance.
