(A not so insignificant bonus – the founder’s first business was in mattresses, so all rooms have four-layered natural fibre mattresses for a deep sleep).

The hotel's standout feature is its spectacular rooftop terrace, where guests can dine on natural, locally sourced specialties and sip Greek wine while taking in unparalleled views of the Acropolis. For those looking to maintain wellness during their stay, Coco-Mat Athens BC offers an electricity-free fitness studio with NOHrD equipment, a sauna, a plunge pool, and serene treatment rooms for massages and holistic therapies.

ACTIVITIES
Guests can rent a COCO-Mat wooden bicycle at the hotel reception and explore the city and all the sights by bike or even by foot. Exercise in the hotel’s gym. The hotel has its own roof garden with with pool and restaurant, from which you have a spectacular view of Athens.

Superb location, close to coffee shops, restaurants, the acropolis, the promenade and much more. The vibe is very chill unlike the main Monastraki square. Service was excellent from the door staff to reception, spa and cleaning team, very much appreciated the friendly service. The gym is mediocre and not very private, equipment is a little pointless, looks like it's more for aesthetics then functionality. I'm not sure if the pictures or text has been changed yet but it's important to note there is no rooftop/pool. We booked knowing this but some people may get the wrong idea. One other notable perk is the free steam/sauna. WiFi was generally good but there were random periods where you'd get poor connectivity. [...]

This hotel was fantastic, what makes it stand out are the staff. Breakfast was amazing, coffees are smooth and creamy.
