Nature-inspired Luxury in Greece’s Tranquil Halkidiki Peninsula

76 Rooms | 3 Restaurants | 2 Bars | Pool | Kid's Club

Located in the secluded Sithonia region of Greece’s northern Halkidiki peninsula, Ekies, All Senses Resort offers a perfect blend of barefoot luxury and a dedication to sustainability. With thoughtfully designed rooms and suites, the resort seamlessly connects to its natural surroundings and draws inspiration from the architectural heritage of neighboring Mount Athos. Minimalist white interiors evoke a sense of calm, while modernist spaces incorporate raw concrete and blonde wood. The eco-friendly pine suites, inspired by the verdant forests, feature private gardens, pools, and direct access to the lush landscape, blurring the lines between indoors and outdoors.

Ideal for couples and families alike, Ekies provides activities that highlight the region’s natural beauty. Young guests can enjoy the dedicated kids' club, a playful haven designed to inspire creativity and exploration. For adventure seekers, the crystal-clear waters of the peninsula await. Guests can borrow sea kayaks or snorkeling gear to uncover hidden coves and nearby islands or set sail on a traditional wooden trehantiri boat for a more classic maritime experience.

Dining at Ekies is a celebration of local flavors and global influences. Loligo, the casual beachfront spot, offers fresh Greek fare in a relaxed setting. Kuko brings Japanese-inspired dishes and creative cocktails to the table, while Bubo showcases contemporary Greek cuisine made with hyper-local, seasonal ingredients. For an unforgettable evening, The Treehouse provides an intimate gourmet dining experience high in the treetops, surrounded by nature and breathtaking views.

Take out a traditional wooden trehantiri boat to explore hidden coves, or borrow a sea kayak and snorkel to discover nearby islands at your own pace. Start your morning with yoga by the beach or unwind at the spa with a holistic massage or reflexology session. Spend the afternoon lounging at Loligo with a cocktail in hand, and let the evening begin with a gourmet dinner at Bubo or a whimsical treehouse meal under the stars. At Ekies, nature and relaxation go hand in hand, offering guests a serene escape where the pace of life slows down and the beauty of Halkidiki comes to life.

The location is perfect. In the evenings you get a breathtaking view and can watch the most stunning sunsets right by the sea. The cocktails are made with so much love and care. The hotel restaurant serves food that is simply incredible — on a star-level. Both the presentation and, above all, the taste stand out from every other restaurant in the area! But the most important thing that made this hotel and our stay so special were the people. The staff took the best possible care of us and made us feel so welcome. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with genuine warmth and big smiles. Nothing was too much trouble for them — they remembered our names, gave us great local tips, and always went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed. It’s rare to find a team that is both so professional and so genuinely kind. [...]

Attention to detail is The resort is a perfect example of how you can do hospitality with class without looking like you are trying too much or getting on the kitsch side. It is lush and green, quiet, with lots of nestled spots to relax, read or work a little if you really have to. Attention to detail is thriving here: the place is spotless and looks perfectly new. The hotel shop is my favorite of all hotel shops I’ve visited: not a beach shop, not a brand splash, but local designers and mindful kids activities. The beach is shallow, with little space to swim, but you can rent a boat from the hotel or several other places for 100 eur per day plus gas and find incredible swimming spots around Diaporos island with cristal clear turquoise waters. The pool is very nice, the only negative thing to say is the schedule: 11.00-19.00, which was very awkward for us. There is also a kiddy pool and a playground for kids, also very nice and, again, blending with the nature around. Restaurants offer tasty taverna style food with a twist and the breakfast is varied, fresh and curated with care for all tastes and with greek accents. The room we had was very generous, two areas separated by a curtain, simple but elegant style. Two things to comment here: the sink was outside the shower-toilet area, which is not always practical and there was no window. We had a nice patio, but it was difficult to get natural light in due to the vegetation and passers by. A big thank you to all staff, for the natural interactions and kind service. [...]

The location, service, and atmosphere were impeccable. The retreat organizers were professional and caring. The organization of the retreat was absolutely flawless. We exercised (Pilates, dancing, stretching and walks in nature) and meditated (guided and silent) and experienced individually tailored treatments (reflexology and deep tissue trigger point massage). We connected with our inner strength and we built community. I would do it again in a heartbeat. [...]
