A Wellbeing Retreat Inspired by Genuine Mallorquin Life
Adjacent to a natural park in a serene valley, protected by the mountains and only a stone’s throw from the picturesque village of Artà and the turquoise Mediterranean Sea, Es Raco d’Artà is an oasis of peace and tranquility. The hotel’s old ‘finca’ dating back to the 13th century has passed through different families over generations and was then abandoned in the 1960s when tourism got a foothold on the island. Restoring the finca brought back to life the long-lost Mallorca where nature, architecture, culture, and gastronomy were deeply rooted in everyday life. The property was designed and built completely sustainably by owners Antoni and Jaume. All materials are natural and recycled. Energy is generated either through solar panels or by a geothermal system. All 34 suites and cottages have private terraces, some even pools, and are generously spread throughout the grounds. Minimalistic design is completed with contemporary works by Mallorquin artists.
