Koukoumi, the first vegan hotel in Greece, offers a serene, detoxifying escape rooted in sustainable living. Located on Mykonos, the hotel is a sanctuary where wellness, ecology, and vegan values come together harmoniously.
The 14 minimalist rooms and suites, inspired by Cycladic architecture, are all-white and elegantly simple, creating a tranquil environment. Every detail reflects the hotel’s commitment to sustainability, featuring solar water heaters, vegan Coco-Mat mattresses, and holistic, eco-friendly cleaning products.
Vegan cuisine is central to the Koukoumi experience, led by Executive Chef Angeliki Charami, who creates gourmet menus and gastronomic concepts for vegan restaurants and hotels. Seasonal dishes are crafted using produce from the hotel’s organic garden and trusted local Greek suppliers. Signature creations include ouzo and dill-infused pappardelle with carrot "salmon," steamed ginger vegetable dumplings, and vibrant Greek-inspired salads. Guests can also enjoy fresh smoothies and plant-based breakfasts designed to nourish and energize.
The wellness offerings include a spa with treatments such as rehydrating facials, detoxifying clay masks, and full-body scrubs that highlight natural ingredients. In the fitness center, personal trainers provide tailored sessions, while yoga and stretching programs can be personalized to guests’ needs. After a workout or spa treatment, the expansive outdoor pool offers a serene space to relax and unwind.

- Koukoumi is Greeks first all-vegan hotel. Some of their produce is from the property’s own fruit and vegetable garden, the rest is bought as locally as possible
- Furniture and fabrics are all of organic origin, beds are by vegan mattress brand Coco-mat
- The staff also wears sustainable, vegan clothing
- The resort is 80% single-use plastic free. Biodegradable and recycled products are used throughout
- Waste is separated and recycled, or composted
- Pool water is filtered with magnesium and bromium, leaving it completely free of any harmful chemicals
- Grey water is filtered with UV light and then used for irrigation
- Koukoumi focuses on a healthy lifestyle with vegan food and a fitness program, including personal trainer upon request

Mykonos town can be reached in 15 minutes by car. The hippest beach clubs and bars are waiting for you, or you can stroll through the white alleys and browse in the boutiques.

Location
Koukoumi Vegan Hotel is located inland, a 4-minute drive, or 20-minute walk from the beach. Mykonos town can be reached in 15 minutes by car.
The hotel is about 8 km away from the airport. For a fee, an airport shuttle can be arranged by the hotel upon request.
