A Laid-Back, Bohemian Ibiza Escape
On the western side of the island near Sant Antoni, OKU Ibiza is bohemian in the most desirable sense. Minimal, earth-toned rooms range from superior doubles with exposed concrete walls and rainforest showers to swim-up rooms with direct access to secluded pools, suites, and a four-bedroom villa. Interiors make use of oak, rattan, hessian and stone for an architecture at ease with the Balearic environment. The hotel has a laid-back, 70’s appeal— a glimpse into what the white isle was when it was still a relatively hidden artist’s haven. Two pools — one adults-only and the largest on the island— provide a calm location for morning laps or tanning with a fresh juice from the organic juice bar.
Like its sister OKU Kos, OKU Ibiza values ecological balance. Enjoy free daily yoga on the property’s rooftop, work out at the NOHrD equipped gym, and energize with treatments in the spa. Two restaurants, one combining Japanese and South American flavors from a former Sushisamba chef alongside a relaxed, Asian-influenced Mediterranean kitchen, serve seasonal, vibrant fare. A resident DJ spins a mix of house, deep house and tech house. At the moment there is construction next to the hotel, so it might be worth renting a car for nature activities.
