The hotel closes annually for the winter season from 16 October to 30 April.

The island of Antiparos is perhaps the most private of the many Cyclades. It is relatively remote –you can take a four-hour ferry from Athens, travel first to Paros, fly privately or sail. When you arrive at The Rooster, an elegant, secluded boutique hotel at the island’s edge, you feel as though you could be at the end of the world.

The property is made up of 17 beautifully appointed guest houses, each bathed in natural light and fit with tasteful, understated Cycladic decor. The Farmhouse is a 3-bedroom villa away from the other rooms by the hotel’s own organic farm. Calm natural tones, private pools and cedar tree-filled terraces are key to each suite. The property is all about slow-living. Visit the sound bath, enjoy complimentary yoga and meditation, and learn about traditional farming techniques. You can pick your own vegetables and herbs for a private open-air meal, or dine at The Secret Garden, feasting on fresh fish brought in daily by the island’s fisherman.

We didn’t stay at the hotel but we went there for drinks and snacks . The place is beautiful , and the view is breathtaking! The service was also excellent from Valet parking to the waitresses . We stopped by for lunch, what a beautiful and relaxing spot. Recommend arriving early so you can have a cocktail at the bar. The service from everyone was great and Despoina was amazing, great recommendations! You can also take a quick walk down to the beach after your meal.

The closest international airport is Athens International Airport (ATH). From Athens, you can take a domestic flight to Paros National Airport (PAS). After arriving at Paros Airport, you can travel to Pounta Port and then take a short ferry ride (approximately 7 minutes) to Antiparos. Once in Antiparos, the hotel is just a 10-minute drive away.

The main town on Antiparos is Chora (also known as Antiparos Town). The Rooster is situated near Livadia Beach, which is about a 10-minute walk from the hotel.
