The AKI Family Resort Plose by ADLER is the ideal place for an unforgettable family vacation in the South Tyrolean Alps. Opened in November 2024, the 70 elegant suites, all designed with natural materials such as spruce wood, oak floors, and natural stone, place great emphasis on quality and a feel-good atmosphere. From the cozy Family Suite with a large terrace to the spacious Family Home with three bedrooms and two bathrooms - each accommodation offers the perfect space for families. The full range of baby equipment, which leaves nothing to be desired, provides additional comfort.

The gastronomic offer at the AKI Family Resort Plose is a treat for the whole family. The AKI gourmet board includes all meals and non-alcoholic drinks and offers a culinary journey from vitamin-rich baby food to creative children's menus and exclusive gourmet dishes. The focus is on fresh, local produce, with child-friendly buffets and a parent-baby station.

The AKI Kids Club delights with a varied program, including creative discovery tours and exciting outdoor activities such as the adventure playground, a duck pond with a raft, and the petting zoo. Our stay at AKI Family Resort PLOSE was honestly exceptional. Even trying hard to think of something negative to mention, we really couldn’t find anything. From the moment we arrived, the experience felt luxurious yet incredibly warm and family-friendly. A staff member immediately helped us with our luggage and even parked our car for us. Our stay at AKI Family Resort PLOSE was honestly exceptional. Even trying hard to think of something negative to mention, we really couldn’t find anything. From the moment we arrived, the experience felt luxurious yet incredibly warm and family-friendly. A staff member immediately helped us with our luggage and even parked our car for us. Our room was spacious, beautifully designed, spotless, and very comfortable. We had a huge balcony with a relaxing lounge sofa overlooking the farm and endless green lawns. The room itself was perfectly planned for families — a parents’ bed, a cozy sitting area/lounge space, and a separate children’s sleeping area with bunk beds and an additional bed, where the lower bed could safely close with a protective net for babies. The entire resort is maintained to the highest standard imaginable. The landscaping is stunning — greenery everywhere, perfectly kept gardens, and breathtaking mountain views from literally every corner of the hotel. The outdoor areas for children are incredible: a little boat on a small pond, obstacle courses, a sandbox, zipline, swings, slides, and trampolines. Everything feels thoughtfully designed and beautifully integrated into nature. We visited during spring and absolutely loved the outdoor toddler pool. It doesn’t resemble a typical baby pool at all — it’s beautifully designed, elegant, relaxing, and surrounded by spectacular mountain scenery. The pool facilities overall were fantastic. The main pool area also includes larger water slides for older kids and adults, which made it fun for the whole family. The indoor heated pool that continues outside toward the mountain views was absolutely breathtaking, and there’s also a separate indoor children’s pool with a small slide and water games. We also really enjoyed the spa facilities. The dining experience was amazing, especially for families with babies and young children. The restaurant is fully equipped with things like Stokke high chairs and Mushie tableware. The food itself was abundant and excellent throughout breakfast, lunch, and dinner. In the evenings, you can also order dishes from a menu in addition to the buffet, and they are always happy to prepare separate meals for children even if those dishes are not part of that day’s buffet. There’s also an ice cream bar available both in the dining area and at the hotel bar. There were endless activities for children: arts and crafts, clay workshops, yoga, farm activities, and a huge indoor playroom with climbing areas and slides. We didn’t personally use them, but there were also games and activities for older kids and teenagers. Another detail we absolutely appreciated was how thoughtfully designed the hotel is for families with small children. Every restroom — including the one in our room — had a changing station, as well as family-friendly bathroom setups with both a regular adult toilet and a smaller child-sized toilet, plus low sinks for children. It was incredibly practical and convenient. You can even rent strollers and bicycles directly from the hotel. Most importantly, the staff consistently went above and beyond. Every request was answered with kindness, professionalism, and genuine willingness to help. This is one of the most impressive family hotels we’ve ever stayed at. [...]

A great place that provided us with world class customer service. The room was newly designed and spacious ( I even slept comfortably on the kids bunk bed). The fridge was always filled with water and juices. We ate there all but two times but the food was always fresh and tasty. You are seating in the same place for breakfast and dinner, and free to sit where you like for lunch. The dinner menu give you plated options and I found that to have the best meals. The hospitality staff from the management to the staff were very friendly. Imana and Wally made the best omelette and waffles. I made new friends from the staff from Puglia. My kids (12 & 10) were at the ripe age to enjoy the resort for one more year, but for the younger kids, this place is prefect. Both pools were heated indoor and outdoor with a view of the mountains. I did the water slides and water tubing and it was so much fun to do as a family. The family sauna was great to warm the bones. We loved the Quiet Room was my favorite place. I was truly able to relax and take a nap every day for an hour or so. I was also able to use their business center during my stay to do some work. The one site entertainment included that we played were table tennis, fuseball, UNO, Connect Four. This place has it all for a family vacation [...]

The hotel is new, very well designed, comfortable, and cozy. The rooms are perfectly suited for families, and the pool area is excellent, safe, and very convenient for children. However, the restaurant clearly needs improvement. On several occasions we waited around 15 minutes before anyone noticed us at dinner. The evening children’s animation is also quite weak. Overall, for a hotel positioned as family-oriented, the children’s program is below expectations. AKI Family Resort PLOSE is located in Cleran, a small village above Brixen (Bressanone) in South Tyrol.

The Brixen train station is approximately 7.5 km away and can be reached by car in about 15 minutes. Regular train connections are available from Brixen to Bolzano, Innsbruck, and Verona.

The historic town center of Brixen, including the renowned Brixen Cathedral, is about 7.6 km from the resort. The impressive Neustift Abbey, a significant cultural and spiritual site, is also nearby—just 11 km from the property.

 

The nearest airport is Bolzano Airport, located approximately 53 km to the south. The drive to the resort takes around 45 to 60 minutes, depending on traffic.
