The hotel’s dining experience includes Mom Restaurant, open all day with fresh, locally sourced ingredients, and Amar Restaurant, a beachfront spot serving Mediterranean cuisine for dinner. Nama Pool Bar boasts stunning views of the infinity pool and sea, featuring cocktails from Baba Au Rum, ranked among The World’s 50 Best Bars. Guests can also unwind at Mosa Beach Bar, set on the private sandy beach. 

At Nao Wellbeing Center, wellness is built on four pillars: nutrition, sleep, movement, and self-mastery. Upon arrival, guests can complete a questionnaire, consult with an expert, and receive a personalized program. The center combines science and holistic therapies, offering sleep programs tailored to individual rhythms, as well as advanced assessments of respiratory function, cardiovascular fitness, and metabolism. Longevity programs are also available, ranging from one to 14 days. 

Active guests can enjoy the indoor & outdoor gym, tennis court, and diving & watersports center, along with blue and electric bikes for exploring the surroundings. 

A great introduction to Cretan culture starts with a visit to Kritsa, a traditional village where guests can explore the Xombli weaving workshop and meet local artisans preserving ancient crafts. Another must-visit is Spinalonga, a striking island with Venetian fortresses and a rich history, best explored with a knowledgeable guide. Nearby villages such as Elounda, Plaka, Vrouhas, and Fourni also offer authentic Cretan experiences, and private wine tastings at local wineries can be arranged. Some activities are available year-round, while others are best enjoyed from April to October or June to October.

It was so much more than I could have expected. So much more insight, relaxation, connection, healing, wholesome and delicious food, and fun! I am leaving with a full heart and renewed strength. Many thanks to my health coach Sophia, my trainer Vagelis, my massage, meditation, breathing therapists Aspa, Despina, and Vivian. I could not have done it all without Talar, whose smile and creative scheduling kept me on cloud 9 for my entire stay. Her six languages and the range spoken by the entire team makes this not just a health and spa experience, but a harbor of welcoming wellbeing within a stunningly beautiful resort. The resort itself carries this gently relaxing spirit into guest services, where Sophia made me feel welcome when I arrived and organized a wonderful day trip to weave at a women's workshop and explore the herbal museum at Kritsa. The restaurants offered amazing varied and healthy dishes, wine tastings, mixology and cooking classes that were filled with fun and insights into the treasures of the Greek Mediterranean. These experiences really made the difference for me as a solo traveler! We had an amazing stay at Minos Palace Resort for our 10-year anniversary. The hotel is beautiful, peaceful, and perfectly run. Even when it is at capacity, it never feels crowded, and the whole experience still feels personal and truly 5-star. What really makes the hotel special is the attention to detail and the warmth of the staff. From the personal greetings to the thoughtful consideration shown to my pregnant wife, everything felt genuine and carefully done. Even small details, like the online hotel portal automatically appearing in German for us, showed how much thought the hotel puts into the guest experience. The food was also really excellent. Breakfast and dinner at Mom restaurant were both very high quality, and we genuinely enjoyed the food throughout the stay. A special thank you to Mr. Patsakis and his whole team, and also to Sofia at check-in, Leonidas at the seafood restaurant, Popi, Ritsa and Sofia at Mom restaurant, and Sofia from housekeeping. Everyone was kind, professional, and made us feel very welcome. The gardening/landscaping team deserves a special mention too - the hotel grounds are beautiful and immaculately maintained despite the sheer size of it. We have been lucky to enjoy many 5 STAR resorts. We are hard pressed to remember a better overall experience than Minos Palace in Agios Nikolaos. The staff care SO much and made us feel like family. We highly recommend MP as the ultimate luxury destination. We also strongly recommend dining in either the Mom or Amar restaurants. World class cuisine, delivered with world class service by Katerina and her team. We would be remiss if we did not give a shout out to the Operations Manager Aggeliki (easy to spell, hard to pronounce haha). Aggeliki will do anything to make your holiday exceed expectations.
