SKARPA Resort: 8 Stylish Cottages with Pool and Sauna on Poland's Baltic Sea

Situated on the edge of the seaside town of Ustronie Morskie, just a ten-minute walk from the wide, sandy shores of the Baltic Sea, SKARPA Resort is a thoughtfully designed retreat comprising eight contemporary cottages. Surrounded by pine trees and lush ornamental grasses, the resort blends minimalist architecture with a strong sense of place. The dark wooden and metal façades with black-framed windows create a striking contrast to the natural landscape, while the interiors are calm and bright—featuring natural materials, custom-made furnishings, and vivid accents that lend each space its own character. Expansive floor-to-ceiling windows invite daylight into every corner and frame tranquil views of the surrounding greenery.

Each of the eight standalone houses includes two bedrooms, a bathroom with a walk-in shower, a fully equipped kitchenette, and an open-plan living and dining area. Some cottages feature an additional loft space with a sofa bed, accommodating up to two extra guests. All units offer a private terrace with garden views and are both air-conditioned and heated. The VIP House 08B also includes a private sauna. The shared amenities include a Finnish sauna, a heated outdoor pool, and a garden whirlpool.

The resort is especially well suited for families: a large sandpit filled with soft beach sand, swings, a play lawn, and open-air fitness equipment give children plenty of space to play and explore. On request, guests can access high chairs, a baby bathtub, board games, books, DVDs, and a washing machine. The owner family lives on-site and personally looks after guests with warmth and attention to detail.

The surrounding area invites exploration on foot or by bicycle, with the Blue Flag-awarded beach offering year-round appeal. Local cafés, shops, and restaurants are within easy walking distance. For a taste of coastal life, visit the nearby fishing harbour or the traditional bread museum, where sourdough loaves are baked the old-fashioned way. The harbour town of Kołobrzeg, with its salt grotto and promenade, is just a ten-minute drive away—an ideal destination when the sea breeze picks up.
