What unique experiences does the AKI Kids Club offer for babies, children and teenagers that go beyond the typical children’s programs?

Imagine a world where children can experience nature up close. Haflinger horses graze right on your doorstep, while sheep and cows stand comfortably in the meadows. Alpacas, rabbits and chickens live peacefully together in the hotel’s own hutch.

Every day begins for your children with feeding the animals, which they can actively help with. They stroke the alpacas, collect eggs from the chickens and watch the sheep graze. In doing so, they playfully learn to take responsibility and build a close connection with nature. In animal care workshops, the children learn how to look after the animals properly, from feeding to grooming.

Your children can also make things in creative nature workshops, where they can let their imagination run wild with materials from the environment such as wood, stones or leaves. In sustainable workshops, they learn how to grow vegetables or herbs and can help out in their own little garden.

This turns every day into an adventure full of nature and discoveries for the children, strengthening their love of the environment and creating unforgettable memories.

How do you integrate sustainability into the activities and the overall environment of the kids’ club?

Daily walks take us across meadows, through forests or to the nature playground, where the children can feel the grass under their feet, smell the fresh air and listen to the chirping of the birds.

In various nature projects, children can learn how to plant and care for vegetables and flowers, for example, or how to bake an apple strudel. While the little ones sleep or listen to a fairy tale, the older children can let off steam creatively with natural materials they have collected themselves, such as leaves, twigs and stones.

In the Kinds Bistro, the children experience an exciting day full of activities! Together they cook tasty dishes and bake delicious apple strudel. They not only learn the different steps of cooking, but also how to set the table properly. It’s great fun to work together and enjoy the results afterwards. At the end of the day, we dance to a few disco songs together with our mascot AKI.

What role does the alpine environment play in the children’s activities and how do you encourage them to connect with nature?

Children can take part in projects that take place entirely outdoors. Here they learn about and appreciate alpine nature through play. In gardening projects, we plant and cultivate local vegetables and flowers. In nature workshops, they make things with leaves, twigs and stones and give free rein to their creativity. A special highlight are the animal observations, where they observe native animals in their natural habitat and learn a lot about the animal world.

For teenagers: Teenagers seek adventure in our survival camp, where they learn how to survive in the wilderness. They make fires, build shelters and discover the larch forest around our resort. Outdoor adventures such as climbing, skiing or mountain biking provide an adrenaline rush. And for creative minds, there are nature photography workshops where you can capture the beauty of nature through the lens of your camera.

These experiences not only offer fun and adventure, but also foster a deep understanding and appreciation of nature.
